The study examines how western culture impacts individuals' daily lives, influencing their routines, thought processes and interactions with society. It explores both the advantage, such as access to diverse opportunities and progressive ideas, and the drawbacks, including cultural erosion and shifts in traditional practices. By analyzing these evolving dynamics, the study aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of how individuals navigate the balance between modernity and their cultural roots in an increasingly interconnected world.

SURVEY DATA
Through the survey most of the respondents were male (60%) and the rest females, similarly most of the respondents were between the age 18-25.
Next, most of the respondents were college students (Undergraduate) and high school students.
Also, most of them were students.

Next, most the respondents had different views on exposure, impact and influence of western culture (2nd section) on their lives be it fashion, food and social media. Example most of the respondents said that western culture has influenced their eating habits, fashion and lifestyle, similarly most of the respondents said that social media and technology as a whole has played a big role in influence of western culture in their lives.

For personal perspectives on the influence of western culture (3rd section) most of the respondents had different personal perspectives, example some said western fashion, food habits, lifestyles, brands, media, movies and TV shows have influenced their lives, while some did not agree with the given criteria, some said that it's about way of thinking, influence and consumption.

Similarly, most of the respondents said that if we talk about balancing traditional culture and western culture it's all about experience, exposure, thinking and way of adopting norms and values, example generational gap is one factor where we see that the older generation were more firm with their norms and values than the younger generation.

Next, for the question if western culture is necessary or not for modernization, most of the respondents replied by saying that it is either not important at all or necessary only for some aspects of life.

OBSERVATION

My observation during the survey was filled with learning and exploration. All the respondents had different views and opinions on the questions. Similarly, the respondents whom I met in person and interacted, I observed fashion, their dressing style, behavior, reaction, mood, views and opinions.

Examples, some respondents said that they like to watch hollywood  movies because they admire the actors the way they speak, the way they dress and the way they live. Some respondents said that they like to eat veg and some non -veg, some like to eat outside example restaurant, cafe or any other place, some like to eat homemade food. Some like to eat with hand while some like to eat using spoon and fork.

Some respondents said that they like to wear western clothes depending on comfort, trend and brand, some said they like to buy clothes of famous brands like H&M, Puma, Adidas, Nike.

For some questions the respondents agreed, some disagreed, some said western culture is important while some said it is not that important. Some like their own tradition over western culture be it food, fashion or social media. Similarly, most of the respondents said that western culture is important because it is modern, it is famous, it is trendy and many people around the globe follow it. While most of the respondents did not agree that western culture is necessary for modernization, they had different opinions and views.

EXPERIENCE

My experience was great indeed filled with learning and exploration, I collected data both from online and offline mode. Some were cooperative while some were not, some liked to talk about the topic while some were not interested at all. All the respondents had different opinions and perspectives to which I agree because at the end of the day we are living different life, lifestyle, residing at different places, exposure is different, impact is different, influence is different as well as thinking is different.
